
People who lead sedentary lives have a higher risk of frequent headaches, Swedish researchers say. They found those who didn’t exercise regularly were 14 per cent more likely to develop headaches than people who did. While the reason hasn’t yet been determined, researchers say it’s yet another reason to stay active.

Removing carbohydrates from your diet may help you lose weight but it could also make you forgetful, a new study says. Participants in the US study who cut out carbs for a week performed significantly worse than those on a low-kilojoule, high-carbohydrate diet. Carbohydrates are converted into glucose, the brain’s source of fuel, making them vital for its proper functioning.
