Following on from his bestselling debut, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, comes this guide which aims to inspire readers to lead happier and more fulfilled lives.
The bald, clean-shaven guru dedicates his book of 101 short stories to the dreamers among us, “those brave souls willing to ignore the chattering voices of their critics in passionate pursuit of their highest ideals”. Those few words contain the first tip on what it means to be great.
The other chapters are made up of short, simple life lessons. Lesson 100 refers to our own Madiba, quoting former US president Bill Clinton on the effect Madiba has on people: “Every time Nelson Mandela walks into a room we all feel a little bigger, we all want to stand up, we all want to cheer, because we’d like to be him on our best day.” Enough said. You’ll find something to inspire you on just about every page of this guide.

Now Alex returns to her hometown because her stepsister has disappeared, leaving Alex to care for her daughter.
Simultaneously crime investigator Daniel Vartanian returns after having buried his parents, murdered by his evil younger brother whom he now knows to have been the leader of a gang of young rapists. He has seen the vile photographic record his brother kept - and Alex’s sister was one of their victims.
Their overlapping histories merge more fiercely when a copycat killer starts mimicking the murder of Alex’s sister. Old photographs come back to haunt pillars of the community, who’ll do anything to keep them hidden.
In spite of the cheesy B-grade title this is a can’t-put-down thriller.
